In 2000, while driving through Southwestern Louisiana I found this Chinese anti-aircraft gun outside of a McDonald’s in Kinder, LA.

I returned to Louisiana in 2009 for a photo assignment in New Orleans.

I used my limited free time to photograph the guns in Jackson Square.

Jackson Square was originally known as “Place d’ Armes”, which might explain all the guns.
